Artist Statement
My work encompasses anything I feel will tell a story and get the viewer involved.
My intention is to leave the viewer wondering what might have gone on just
before the image was captured. I want the viewer to see something that makes
them feel good and let their imagination help create a sense of having been there.

I particularly like old buildings, street scenes and boats.
They all seem to suggest stories worth telling.
I particularly like working in watercolor. It never ceases to amaze me.
And the brilliant colors are fun to watch when they mingle.
Although I had not worked in acrylic for some time, i decided to explore the medium again
and have started doing more and mixing watercolor and acrylic in the same painting.
